Kay Williams, age 57, of Jackson, died January 30, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Kay was born February 18, 1952 in Marlette, MI the daughter of Melvin and Dorothy (Pollak) Hudson. She Married Henry “Bobby” Williams and he survives.
Kay worked for Big Boy for many years. She loved crocheting, collecting Longaberger baskets, dishes, and doilies. Kay was an all star softball player and also enjoyed playing pool and scrabble. Her favorite job was that of being a grandmother.
Besides her husband Bobby, Kay is survived by her children: Sandra Schalk, Michelle Adams, and Tiffini McDaniels; her grandchildren: Sabrina Schalk, TreShaun Schalk, Javonté Duren, Makaylah Williams, Amiah Parker, Adrianah Parker, Arianah Parker, Jaquarius Parker, and Michael Blackmore; 3 brothers, 4 sisters; many nieces and nephews; and best friends: Bridget Gooch, Renée Pollet, and Sarah Mietelka. Her parents preceded her in death.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 10:00 Am until the time of her funeral service at 12:00 Noon at the Wetherby Funeral Home, Jackson. Burial will be in Harrington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are appreciated, Michelle Adams, 1314 Merriman, Jackson, MI, 49203.
