Age 64, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2010. Carter was a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada for the past 31 years.
He was a graduate of Jackson High School. After attending Eastern Michigan University for a short period of time Carter enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp and served his entire tour in Viet Nam. Carter was a 30 year employee of the Las Vegas Hilton retiring in early 2009 due to poor health. Carter possessed the uncanny ability to converse on many subjects and was always interesting to listen to. Carter is survived by his sister, Marcia Hudson, of Jackson.
Cremation has taken place and per his wishes no services will be held. Donations in his memory may be made to any organization that feeds the hungry and/or any humane society or pet sanctuary. Carter will be missed by many. Friends may send condolences or share a memory with the family at wetherbyfuneralhome.com
