Of Jackson passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Care Link, age 82.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dale. She is survived by 4 children, Dick of Chicago, Gary of New York, Beverly of Lansing, MI, David of Marshall, MI; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Elaine was an avid musician. She played the piano and organ and accompanied church choirs and played the organ at other venues. She also had a beautiful singing voice and sang in church choirs and with the Jackson Chorale. She was a Sunday school superintendent for many years and had been an officer in the local chapter of AARP. She was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 12:00 P.M. at Wetherby Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Williams officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 P.M. and Saturday from 3-5 P.M. Those who wish may direct memorial contributions to the charity of your choice.
